Last updated August 31, 2026
Connecting Google Search Console unlocks keyword ranking data, click-through rates, and impressions directly in AEO Goal - no manual export required.
Connecting GSC
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Search Console.
- Click Connect Google Search Console.
- Sign in with the Google account that has access to your GSC property.
- Select the GSC property for your domain (must match your brand’s domain).
- Click Allow.
- Back in AEO Goal, click Confirm Connection.
The integration is now active. AEO Goal begins importing GSC data (the initial import may take a few minutes).
What GSC data unlocks
Rank Tracking:
- Import your top-performing queries directly as tracked keywords
- See GSC position data alongside AEO Goal’s rank tracking
Core Web Vitals:
- Real-user CrUX field data for LCP, INP, and CLS
- Page-level breakdowns by device type
Keyword Research:
- Click-through rates and impressions for query ideas
- Top-performing queries segmented by page
Conversions:
- Organic search sessions as a baseline channel
Importing queries as tracked keywords
- Go to Rank Tracking → Import from GSC.
- Filter by date range and minimum impressions.
- Select queries to import.
- Click Add to Rank Tracking.
Data refresh
GSC data is synced daily. There is typically a 2-3 day lag in GSC data (Google’s standard delay) - data for the last 3 days may be incomplete.
Disconnecting GSC
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Search Console.
- Click Disconnect.
Disconnecting stops the sync but doesn’t delete historical data already imported. Reconnect at any time to resume syncing.
