Brand Voice profiles tell AEO Goal’s AI content generator how your brand communicates - ensuring generated blog posts, emails, and copy match your actual tone rather than sounding generic.

Creating a brand voice profile

  1. Go to Brand Settings → Brand Voice (or Content → Brand Voice).
  2. Click Create Profile.
  3. Fill in the voice dimensions:
    • Tone - e.g. “Professional but approachable”
    • Personality traits - e.g. “Data-driven, direct, avoids buzzwords”
    • Audience - who you’re writing for
    • Avoid - phrases, styles, or topics to steer clear of
  4. Click Save.

Training from existing content

Instead of writing a profile from scratch, AEO Goal can analyze your existing content to extract your brand voice automatically:

  1. In the Brand Voice editor, click Train from Content.
  2. Paste URLs of 3-5 representative blog posts or pages.
  3. Click Analyze.

AEO Goal reads each page and extracts tone, vocabulary patterns, and structural preferences to populate the voice profile.

Connecting source documents

You can also upload brand guideline documents (PDF, Google Doc, or plain text) as source material:

  1. Click Add Source Document.
  2. Upload or link the document.
  3. AEO Goal indexes the document and references it during content generation.

Applying brand voice to content

When generating a blog post, select your brand voice profile from the Voice dropdown in the generation dialog. All generated content will follow the profile’s guidelines.

If no profile is selected, AEO Goal uses a neutral, professional default.

Multiple profiles

You can create multiple brand voice profiles - useful for agencies managing clients with different voices, or brands with product lines that have distinct audiences. Each brand in your account can have its own default voice profile.
