Public Reports
Share read-only report URLs with clients or stakeholders - no login required.
Last updated August 31, 2026
Public Reports generate shareable, read-only URLs for your AEO dashboard data - so clients and stakeholders can see live metrics without needing an AEO Goal login.
Creating a public report
- Go to Reports → Public Reports.
- Click Create Public Report.
- Select the brand and which data views to include:
- Share of Model overview
- Citations trend
- Prompt win/loss
- Rank tracking summary
- Backlinks summary
- Set an optional expiry date (default: no expiry).
- Optionally add password protection.
- Click Generate Link.
A unique URL is created (e.g. aeogoal.com/r/abc123). Anyone with this link can view the report.
What public reports show
Public reports are read-only snapshots of live data. They update automatically as new data comes in - the recipient always sees current metrics, not a point-in-time PDF.
Public reports do not show:
- Account settings or billing
- Team member information
- Other brands in your account
- Ticket details
White-label public reports
On agency plans with white-label configured, public report URLs use your custom domain and display your branding instead of AEO Goal’s. See White-Label.
Password protection
For sensitive client data, enable password protection when creating the report. Share the password separately from the link.
Managing public reports
From Reports → Public Reports you can:
- View all active public report links
- See how many times each link has been accessed
- Edit which views are included
- Set or change an expiry date
- Revoke a link (it immediately becomes inaccessible)
