Blog Generation
Generate AI-optimized blog posts designed to earn citations from AI engines.
Last updated August 31, 2026
Blog Generation creates long-form blog posts optimized for both traditional SEO and AI engine citation. Unlike generic AI writers, AEO Goal’s blog generator is calibrated to produce content that AI engines recognize as authoritative and cite in answers.
Generating a post
- Go to Content → Blog.
- Click Generate Blog Post.
- Enter a topic or target keyword (e.g. “best practices for AI SEO in 2026”).
- Select your brand voice profile (or leave default).
- Set target word count (typically 1,500-3,000 words for AEO content).
- Click Generate.
Generation takes 30-90 seconds depending on length.
What the generator produces
- A structured post with H2/H3 headings matching common AI question patterns
- FAQ section in JSON-LD schema format (ready to paste into your CMS)
- Author bio placeholder (required for E-E-A-T)
- Internal link suggestions (based on your existing crawled pages)
- Meta title and description
- Entities section listing key concepts and their relationships
AEO quality score
After generation, each post receives an AEO Quality Score (0-100) measuring:
- Question-answer structure density
- Entity coverage
- Citation potential (does it answer questions AI engines are asked?)
- E-E-A-T signals present
Aim for 70+ before publishing.
Editing and publishing
The generated post opens in the built-in block editor. You can:
- Edit any section
- Regenerate a specific paragraph
- Add custom blocks
- Preview the post
When ready, click Publish to send to a connected CMS (WordPress, GitHub, Webflow). See Publishing Integrations.
Blog library
All generated posts live in Content → Blog Library. The library shows each post’s AEO quality score, publish status, and citations earned since publishing (once your tracked prompts detect it being cited).
